Introduction.
Hello, my name is ignis.I am 17 years old. I now live with the task of caring of my younger sister unda. It has been a long year for both of us since our parents died. Now if you have not already clicked off this blog because of pure boredom, then this will surely scare you off. The person or thing that killed our parents is a being people call slenderman. My mother used to always say that the power of thought could bring things to life, no matter how small. The collective belief in such a thing could quite possibly give life to it. The popularity of this thing just might have been what created it, and if so then may the goddess help us all. Almost a year ago my sister got very much into this internet thing called slenderman, at the time I thought it was silly and told her not to dwell on such foolish things. When she claimed to start seeing it, I believed it was merely her imagination getting the best of her as usual. That is until I saw it for myself. As soon as I saw 'It' ( I refuse to call it by name anymore, for doing so would give it power that it should not possess) I told my mother, and she believed me. My dear sweet mother was always one to listen, goddess rest her poor soul. She kept us home in a attempt to help us. It worked for awhile, and we did not see 'It'/for the longest time. One night at about midnight I heard a scream, and went to the living room to find my father dead, and my dear mother in the arms of that thing. There was nothing I could do. We left immediately, and we have been running since. I watch over and protect my dear sister, who is only 3 years younger than myself. My name means fire in latin, and my sister's means water. My mother always said that fire and water by nature do not get along, but by the power of the goddess they may work together in harmony. I now understand what she meant by this. Both of us fought constantly before, but the goddess has graced us with harmony so we may work together to survive this horror.
